ABOUT

I admit I am obsessed with interiors and all the beautiful things that fill up a room. I truly love what I do and my enthusiasm is evident in everything I show to my clients. A successful space should be interesting, pleasing, stylish and even surprising. I believe that your living space can and should transform your life. Your home should be the reflection of your best you and in the end just make you smile when you enter it.

My interiors are inspired by the use of layers. I combine unique color combinations, a variety of shapes and proportions, mix wood finishes, metals, wallcoverings and furniture styles. As an avid reader of design magazines, I have over the years developed a clipping library compiled into dozens of binders. I review hundreds of photos to quickly zero in on specific styles, furniture, lighting, art and accessories that resonate with my client.

SOURCING

As a native San Franciscan, I am a sourcing fiend. I scour showrooms, vintage stores, local shops, online sources and retail outlets on a regular basis to be able to provide my clients with as many options as possible. I pride myself in knowing what is available and if it can’t be found, work with a cadre of exceptional craftspeople I have relied on over the years.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

I prefer to work on a handful of projects at once in order to provide each with a strong design vision and continuity throughout the duration of the project. I believe that establishing a direct and open dialogue between decorator and client is the most important aspect in achieving an end result well worth the wait. My team includes project assistants and drafters as well as a long list of behind the scenes players including drapery makers, furniture craftspeople, upholsterers, cabinet makers, refinishers, decorative painters, wallpaper hangers, carpet installers, contractors and architects with whom I have established trusted relationships.
